It's about time! I know!!!!

Okay, so since i haven't blogged in like a year, I'm not going to try and catch up, i'm just going to start from here! :) A lot has happened.....I am now 29 weeks pregnant! We are having a little Boy and are so so so excited! Mark is going to have a little buddy to hang out with! Anyway-We just got back from a church history tour back east for two weeks that was AMAZING! Here are some pics!

Mark & I at Niagra Falls! It was very pretty, except I think the view is better from the Canadian side! New York all together is pretty though!

The Falls again!

This one was neat! This is Mark's 4th great grandfather i think he said! There was a pic of him, and Mark even looked like him ha ha!

Ha ha Mark is measuring up to Hyrum and Joseph outside the Nauvoo temple!

Ahhhh! I love this pic! We got to do a session in the Nauvoo temple, and it was AMAZING! It was one of the neatest experiences on the trip!

Mark and I excited about going to the Sacred Grove :)

Walkway to the Sacred Grove, it really was so peaceful here!

Here is the Palmyra, NY temple from Joseph Smith's house! The fall colors were beautiful!

The trip was AMAZING! And just so you all know, we drove in a dang sprinter van the entire way! I think we drove 38 hours in the first two days without stopping! Yep we drove through the night! Ha ha.....All I know is that its a dang good thing there was a bathroom in that thing, because being 27 wks pregnant and in a vehicle that long could have been disasterous! ha ha ha Anyway thanks for catching up on us, and I will attempt to post more often! :)

March Madness!!!

This week has had some ups and downs......Yes BYU lost to Florida, but since that depressing night I got offered a full time RN position at EIRMC on the surgical floor that i'm really excited about, and then today I got called to be in the Young Women's Presidency in our ward! I loved young womens growing up, and i'm really excited to be with the girls and go to girls camp and do it all over again :)

Okay, so i have always been a basketball fan...and even more so a BYU fan, but I've never been so into March Madness as Mark and I have been this year! It's been fun to throw parties on game nights :)

Right after our Party! We love hanging out with McKay and Carlee!

Ha ha nothing like showing up to a party wearing the same shirt! I thought it was cute :)

Mark and Scott......enough said!

Playing Catch Up

Okay guys! I know this is horrible, but i'm going to catch up for the last couple of months! We have had a great end of 2010 and beginning of 2011. We are going through a few changes right now and we are EXCITED!!! :)

To Start.......Our 1 year anniversary was back on December 18th, 2010. Mark took me down to Salt Lake and we stayed at the down town Marriott for the weekend. It was a blast! He took me out to Olive Garden Friday night, and then we went to temple square to see the Christmas lights. It was beautiful like always. The next day we got up and went through a session at the Salt Lake City Temple for the first time. It was amazing! Here are some pics.....

Okay...2nd.....our Christmas was wonderful. We went to Mark's parents house with his whole family and celebrated in the FREEZING cold weather ;) The girls did crafts and the boys had pool tournaments. I can't find my pictures of Christmas, but is was a very fun holiday!

3rd....In February my brother and his family came to visit from Tennessee!!! It was so much fun! My brother got a job in the ICU so he and his family moved back in October, and it was so good to see them! Right after they moved they had a sweet little girl named Anabelle! Now there family consists of Aaron, Katie, Kash, Koby, and Anabelle.....Aaron and Kash celebrated their birthdays while they were here visiting...(Pictures will be on next post)...

Roller Coaster!

So it seems like Mark and I have been on a crazy roller coaster ride with a lot of ups and downs lately! Lets just start things off.....

1. I went to a ENT specialist last week because my tonsils have been killing me and I've been sick pretty much non-stop since thanksgiving! He scheduled my surgery for 2/24/2011! Yep, well that was today...but didn't happen! I'll tell you why......(sad news)

2. Mark and I have been trying to sell our apartment contract for about a month so that we can move into this cute little house that my brother bought and fixed up, and we hadn't received a single phone call on it! Well so I get a phone call on Monday from a lady who says she's really interested and wants to come look at it, she takes one look and says that she wants it!!!! YAY! (Happy News)

BUT...........................

She wants to move in by MARCH 1st!

So as you can see....that put a damper on me getting my tonsils out! So we thought that would be all the big news that we heard this week, but we were wrong!

3. We found out today that mark didn't get accepted to the nursing program @ BYU-Idaho for the 2nd time :( (Sad News) .....He's applied at one other school, so we're still crossing our fingers that he'll be able to get in this year!

4. My brother Aaron is flying into Salt Lake today and will be in RIGBY tonight!!! It's been 5 months since I have seen him and i'm really excited! I love having his cute little family here! (Happy News)

5. AND THE BEST OF ALL!!!! Our vacation is finally booked for April 7-17th!!!!! We are going to Hilton Head Island for the beach, shopping, and of course golf for mark! And then we are going down to Orlando to do the whole Disney World thing!!! I'm so excited to get a break!!!! (Happy News!)

So there is a little sneak peak of our roller coaster ride! Hope you enjoyed it! :)

Come What May & Love It

i was reading one of my friend's posts today, and i couldn't help but want to share this message! As i listened to these words, it hit me! This is exactly what i have been needing to here. Sometimes i get caught up in my own little world and think that everything is so hard and that i'm so picked on, but my trials don't even come close to comparing to some other people that i know!

Come what may...and LOVE it!

Everyone has their trials, some harder than others. I'm slowly learning to be grateful for the trials that i have in my life and the things that i learn from them. There is always someone else out there who has suffered more than I. I love how in this video he says that when we feel like getting mad, we should laugh instead..... it not only makes our lives more enjoyable, but those around us as well.
I hope you all had a GREAT Valentines day and remember to LAUGH when times get hard.

BIGGEST LOSER "here we come!"

So i know i started my blog over a month ago and haven't written since, but mark and I are BORING! ............. :(
School started up the beginning of January, and mark and I are taking a statistics class together. It's actually a pretty fun class! This is the only class mark is taking, and he's working as much as he can. I'm taking two nursing classes along with the statistics class and i'm working full time as nurse, so we really don't have too much time for fun! BUT.................

The newest thing we have going is our Biggest loser competition on the Pendleton side! It starts tomorrow, and everyone is putting $50 on the line! That makes the final prize about $450!!!! Totally worth the money....and to look great! We're judging by the pounds lost and on a point system, so it should get interesting! We are doing this competition clear up until memorial day weekend, and Mark and I are going back east to Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina in April which means i'm going to have to resist all of the FRIED FOODS :( so sad!

Anyway.....Sorry Mark and I are so boring at the moment, hopefully our lives will get a little bit more interesting soon :)
